A little about us

The Emerald Valley Regency Society is a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving and reviving the atmosphere and activities of the Regency period in England. This time period spanned the late 18th & early 19th century, when King George III was dying from an incapacitating illness and his son, as Prince Regent, ruled in his stead. This glorious, yet relatively brief, period of British history produced many beloved figures including the popular author, Jane Austen.
